02.How does maintenance differ between everyday and luxury sarees?

Synthetics & blended cottons: Gentle hand wash or mild cold-water cycle; drip dry in the shade.

Handlooms, pure silks, and embellished sarees: Dry clean only. Never hang on wire hangers long-termā€”fold and store inside breathable cotton or muslin bags away from moisture and direct sunlight.

03. How do you iron pure silk and metallic zari sarees without damaging them?

Use low heat: Set the iron strictly to the "Silk" or low-temperature setting.

Iron the reverse side: Always press from the wrong side of the fabric.

Use a pressing cloth: Place a clean, thin white cotton cloth (like muslin or a handkerchief) between the iron and the saree. Never let a hot soleplate touch metallic zari directly, as heat melts the metallic coating and discolors the thread.
