Sacred art meets timeless elegance: this breathtaking Kalamkari silk saree on a pristine off-white/cream base is a devotional masterpiece woven in silk. The body is adorned with a magnificent hand-painted twin Krishna composition: two divine figures with vivid blue skin, dressed in rich red and gold traditional attire with intricate jewellery, dancing gracefully on either side of a vibrant red tree with large green leaves rising from a golden lotus base.

Every detail, from the expressive faces and flowing garments to the delicate floral fillers, is rendered with the meticulous brushwork that defines authentic Kalamkari artistry. This is not just a saree; it is a devotional painting you can wear. The artwork flows into a striking rich teal/peacock blue border adorned with multiple horizontal gold zari stripes, adding a contemporary, jewel-toned elegance to this spiritual masterpiece.

FAQ

What is a Pochampally saree?
Pochampally sarees are traditional Indian garments woven using an ancient technique called Ikat. Before weaving, the yarn (threads) is intricately tie-dyed to create vibrant, geometric patterns. These sarees are highly sought after for their rich colors, exceptional craftsmanship, and unique aesthetic.

Are Pochampally and Patola sarees the same thing?
No, though they both use the Ikat tie-and-dye technique. Patola sarees originate from Gujarat and typically use a highly complex "Double Ikat" process where both the warp (lengthwise) and weft (crosswise) threads are dyed. Pochampally sarees originate from Telangana and frequently use "Single Ikat" (only the warp or weft is dyed), featuring simpler but equally stunning geometric motifs.

Wonderful experience!

I ordered two sarees from the UK to be delivered to my address in India. The shopping experience was hassle free with Mr Ganesh helping me over WhatsApp to select the best saree pattern and design. Without Ganesh's help, I wouldn't have been able to select the perfect sarees for my boy's party. Thanks for your help :)

Very good collection. Even better staff.
We came here for wedding shopping. Ms. Veena is brilliant sales person with tonnes of patience. The other staff members are also very friendly. They showed us the sarees without any hesitation and made sure we were satisfied before shopping. We shopped here entirely for everyone and it's a very good place to shop. Highly recommend to visit this store
