- Exclusive Limited Collection
Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in a vibrant multi-colour large square check grid (kattam) body — a bold, graphic six-colour large check repeat in hot magenta pink, burnt orange, deep black, warm brown, plum purple and coral salmon silk across the entire body. The large check squares are cleanly delineated with fine self-colour silk lines, creating a striking, jewel-toned patchwork of colour across the luminous silk ground.
Scattered at each check intersection are alternating gold zari large ornate circular medallion (pushpa chakra) buttas and small gold zari naturalistic peacock (mayura) buttas — the large circular medallion buttas are densely woven concentric circular blooms with radiating petal layers and a fine beaded outer ring in antique gold zari; the small peacock buttas are compact, ornate peacocks with spread tail feathers and individually delineated crest and wing details in fine antique gold zari. Finished with a narrow plain burnt orange silk selvedge. Korvai construction.
