If hand washing is necessary, use cold water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent — never wring or twist the fabric. Gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat on a clean towel to dry in shade, away from direct sunlight.

Q2: How do I store my Tussar Silk Saree to prevent damage? Fold the saree along its original creases and wrap it in a soft muslin cloth (avoid plastic bags, which trap moisture). Store in a cool, dry place away from humidity. Re-fold every 3–6 months along different lines to prevent permanent crease marks, and place neem leaves or silica gel sachets nearby to deter insects and moisture.

Q3: How do I iron a Tussar Silk Saree without damaging it? Always iron on the reverse side of the saree using a low to medium heat setting (silk mode).
