The entire body is adorned with the iconic Bandhani dot pattern, thousands of tiny white resist-dyed dots arranged in a sweeping diagonal diamond grid, creating a mesmerising allover texture that shimmers with movement.

The saree transitions into a striking, wide black border featuring an elegant white scrolling floral vine print, graceful tendrils, blooms, and sunflower/lotus motifs rendered in classic block-print style. A gleaming gold zari chevron woven strip at the hem adds the perfect regal finishing touch.

1. How should I wash a cotton saree for the first time?
Before the first wash, soak the saree in a bucket of cold water mixed with a handful of rock salt for 10–15 minutes. This helps lock in the colors and prevents them from bleeding. Afterward, hand wash it gently using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid using harsh brushes or wringing the fabric tightly.

2. Do pure cotton sarees shrink?
Yes, pure cotton is a natural fiber and has a tendency to shrink slightly (usually about 2% to 5%) after the first wash. It is generally recommended to wash a cotton saree once before getting the fall and pico done.

3. How do I keep my cotton saree crisp and stiff?
To maintain crispness and get perfectly structural pleats, use liquid or powder starch. After washing, dip the damp saree into a basin of cold water mixed with starch, gently squeeze out the excess liquid, and hang it to dry.
