A garden in full bloom, painted on raw silk. This exquisite saree carries the soul of India's finest Kalamkari tradition, a warm, sand taupe textured silk base with a delicate vertical shimmer stripe weave, hand-painted with an abundant, all-over botanical composition. Oversized purple and mauve lotus flowers unfurl in full bloom alongside teal and dark green lotus buds, sweeping tropical leaves, curling vines, and delicate berry branches every stroke rendered in fine dark brown hand-drawn outline with the unhurried confidence of a master craftsman. A diagonal rope/vine border motif weaves through the body, framing the botanical abundance with quiet elegance.

While traditional raw silk is usually solid-colored or features woven zari borders, printed raw silk combines the rustic, rich texture of the fabric with modern or traditional graphic designs. From digital floral prints and geometric patterns to traditional Kalamkari and Madhubani motifs, printing adds a vibrant, contemporary flair to a classic heritage fabric.

2. Do these sarees stretch or shrink?
Pure raw silk does not stretch. It may experience minimal shrinkage (around 1-2%) if washed in water, which is why dry cleaning is always the safest bet to maintain its original dimensions.
