Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in midnight navy blue with an all-over dense gold zari geometric diamond and arrow-head jaal — a continuous interlocking lattice of large diamond forms filled with fine herringbone and chevron gold zari micro-weave, each diamond centred with a small square motif. The body shimmers entirely in antique gold zari against the deep navy ground.

Anchored by a broad navy blue border with a spectacular gold zari figurative forest scroll — a continuous frieze of elephants, lions and leaping deer amid dense scrolling lotus blooms, fern fronds and vine work, all in antique gold zari. Finished with fine gold zari geometric edge bands and a narrow crimson red silk selvedge. Korvai construction.

1. How should I store my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Store your Kanchipuram silk saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wrap it in a soft muslin or cotton cloth rather than plastic to allow the fabric to breathe. Refold the saree every few months along different lines to prevent permanent creases. Keep neem leaves or silica gel packets nearby to protect against moisture and insects.

2. How do I clean my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Always dry clean your Kanchipuram silk saree to preserve the silk quality and gold zari work. Avoid washing at home as water and detergents can damage the delicate silk fibers and tarnish the zari. If you notice minor stains, gently blot (don't rub) with a soft, dry cloth and take it to a professional dry cleaner experienced with silk sarees.

Yes, but with caution. Iron your Kanchipuram silk saree on the reverse side using a low to medium heat setting.
