A celebration of India's ancient resist-dyeing tradition, this Mint Green Ikat cotton Saree is woven with precision and artistry. The soft sage-green body features a refined horizontal ribbed texture with subtle gold zari stripe accents, lending it an understated elegance.

The centrepiece is the striking Ikat border section, bold black tribal medallion motifs with swirling floral and geometric patterns, each one a testament to the skilled hands behind the loom. The saree culminates in a wide black border adorned with multiple rows of intricate gold zari geometric weave chevrons, squares, and repeating motifs that shimmer with every step.

1. How should I wash a cotton saree for the first time?
Before the first wash, soak the saree in a bucket of cold water mixed with a handful of rock salt for 10–15 minutes. This helps lock in the colors and prevents them from bleeding. Afterward, hand wash it gently using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid using harsh brushes or wringing the fabric tightly.

2. Do pure cotton sarees shrink?
Yes, pure cotton is a natural fiber and has a tendency to shrink slightly (usually about 2% to 5%) after the first wash. It is generally recommended to wash a cotton saree once before getting the fall and pico done.

3. How do I keep my cotton saree crisp and stiff?
To maintain crispness and get perfectly structural pleats, use liquid or powder starch. After washing, dip the damp saree into a basin of cold water mixed with starch, gently squeeze out the excess liquid, and hang it to dry.
