Draped in the legacy of semi-silk master weavers, this deep wine semi-silk saree is a celebration of timeless craftsmanship. The lustrous mulberry silk body is adorned with scattered gold oval coin motifs (buttas), each one a miniature medallion of intricate zari threadwork that catches light with every movement.

1. Are Semi Silk sarees comfortable for long hours?
Yes! In fact, many prefer them for weddings and long events because:

They are generally lighter than pure zari-heavy silks.

They hold their pleats exceptionally well.

The synthetic blend makes them less prone to permanent wrinkling during a long day.

2. Can I starch a Semi Silk saree?

Generally, no. Most Semi Silk sarees (especially those blended with polyester) have a permanent crispness. Applying starch can make the fabric too stiff, causing it to poke out awkwardly at the waist rather than draping gracefully.
If it’s a Silk-Cotton blend, a very light spray-starch can be used, but proceed with caution.

3.How long does a Semi Silk saree last?
With proper care, a Semi Silk saree can easily last 5 to 10 years. While they may not become "heirlooms" passed down for generations silk semi saree, they are incredibly sturdy for regular festive use.
