Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in deep crimson red with an all-over self-colour gold zari dense horizontal chevron and zigzag stripe body weave — alternating bands of fine gold zari chevron rows, dot-dash sequences and small floral micro-motifs covering the entire body in a rich, tonal self-colour weave. The body transitions into a spectacular large gold zari graduated temple arch (gopuram) spike pallu — a dramatic row of tall rounded-arch forms of varying heights rising from the body, each arch filled with dense concentric gold zari herringbone weave, creating a bold architectural silhouette in antique gold zari against the crimson ground. Finished with a broad plain gold zari tissue selvedge band with a fine blush pink silk edge.

1. How should I store my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Store your Kanchipuram silk saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wrap it in a soft muslin or cotton cloth rather than plastic to allow the fabric to breathe. Refold the saree every few months along different lines to prevent permanent creases. Keep neem leaves or silica gel packets nearby to protect against moisture and insects.

2. How do I clean my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Always dry clean your Kanchipuram silk saree to preserve the silk quality and gold zari work. Avoid washing at home as water and detergents can damage the delicate silk fibers and tarnish the zari.
