Bold, festive, and deeply luxurious, this pure kanchivaram silk saree in a rich deep crimson/red is woven with an all-over gold zari check/grid pattern, thin horizontal and vertical gold zari lines forming a regular square grid across the entire body, with tiny gold zari butta motifs nestled within each cell a classic South Indian weaving technique that adds depth and shimmer to every fold. The border is a showstopper: a wide band of large ornate gold zari floral and leaf brocade with big sprawling floral clusters, large leaves and vine scrolls in heavy gold zari, seamlessly transitioning from the grid body into the rich brocade.
