FAQ

How should I wash a pure silk Shalya?
Dry cleaning is strongly recommended to preserve the lustre and zari. If hand-washing at home, use cold water and a mild detergent or baby shampoo; never wring or twist the fabric.
How do I store it to prevent damage?
Store it in a breathable cotton or muslin bag. Avoid plastic covers, which trap moisture and can cause gold zari to turn black.
Can I iron it?
Yes, use a low heat or "silk" setting. It is safest to iron the Shalya on the reverse side with a thin cotton cloth placed between the iron and the silk.
How often should I refold it?
To prevent the silk from tearing along permanent creases, refold the garment every 3 to 4 months.

Wonderful experience!

I ordered two sarees from the UK to be delivered to my address in India. The shopping experience was hassle free with Mr Ganesh helping me over WhatsApp to select the best saree pattern and design. Without Ganesh's help, I wouldn't have been able to select the perfect sarees for my boy's party. Thanks for your help :)

Very good collection. Even better staff.
We came here for wedding shopping. Ms. Veena is brilliant sales person with tonnes of patience. The other staff members are also very friendly. They showed us the sarees without any hesitation and made sure we were satisfied before shopping. We shopped here entirely for everyone and it's a very good place to shop. Highly recommend to visit this store
