Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in coral rose pink with an all-over dense gold zari and meenakari multi-colour scrolling floral vine (vasanth jaal) body — a continuous, flowing jaal of large scrolling lotus blooms, chrysanthemum heads, curling fern fronds and vine tendrils in antique gold zari, with individual floral centres filled with ruby red and violet meenakari colour accents. The meena work adds jewel-like colour pops of deep ruby red and soft violet against the coral pink silk and gold zari ground, creating a fabric of extraordinary richness and depth. The vasanth jaal covers the entire body in a dense, all-over pattern with no plain ground visible.

Anchored by a broad plain antique gold tissue border — a wide expanse of warm antique gold zari tissue silk with a dense gold zari scrolling floral and leaf frieze running along the centre, flanked by fine gold zari geometric edge bands. Finished with a narrow deep magenta silk selvedge. Korvai construction.

1. How should I store my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Store your Kanchipuram silk saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wrap it in a soft muslin or cotton cloth rather than plastic to allow the fabric to breathe. Refold the saree every few months along different lines to prevent permanent creases. Keep neem leaves or silica gel packets nearby to protect against moisture and insects.

2. How do I clean my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Always dry clean your Kanchipuram silk saree to preserve the silk quality and gold zari work. Avoid washing at home as water and detergents can damage the delicate silk fibers and tarnish the zari. If you notice minor stains, gently blot (don't rub) with a soft, dry cloth and take it to a professional dry cleaner experienced with silk sarees.

3. Can I iron my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Yes, but with caution. Iron your Kanchipuram silk saree on the reverse side using a low to medium heat setting. Place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the saree to protect the fabric and zari work. Never iron directly on the gold zari as high heat can damage the metallic threads. For best results, iron while the saree is slightly damp or use a steam iron on low setting
