A rare and captivating motif from the heart of India's folk textile tradition — this blue Semi Pochampally Ikat Silk Saree from Kuberan Silks features the iconic camel rider motif, a symbol of royal processions and festive grandeur, woven with extraordinary precision across a luminous teal ground.

Fabric & Weave

Crafted in semi-pochampally silk with a smooth, radiant finish, this saree is woven using the authentic Pochampally ikat technique. Each camel rider motif is achieved through meticulous resist-dyeing of individual threads before weaving, a labour-intensive process that results in the characteristic soft-edged, jewel-like quality unique to genuine ikat.

Design Details

  • Body: Deep teal ground with an open, airy layout of ornately decorated camel rider motifs alternating with concentric diamond shapes in ivory, gold, orange, and blue, each motif a miniature masterpiece of ikat craftsmanship.
  • Border: Vibrant multicolour ikat border with bold diamond and paisley motifs in blue, orange, red, and purple a festive, eye-catching frame that anchors the drape

Care Instructions

Dry clean recommended. Store folded in soft muslin cloth, away from direct sunlight, to preserve the depth of the teal and the lustre of the zari.
