Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in deep magenta crimson plain silk with scattered large gold zari dense concentric circular floral medallion (pushpa chakra) buttas — three concentric rings of densely packed tulip bud and leaf forms in antique gold zari with a central four-petal lotus bloom, each butta a large, ornate circular composition with a fine outer beaded ring, placed in a spaced diagonal repeat across the luminous magenta crimson silk ground.

Anchored by a spectacular broad self-colour magenta crimson border with an all-over dense gold zari multi-tiered rising temple gopuram spike (kalasam) jaal — a dramatic, densely woven all-over pattern of large multi-tiered rising temple tower spikes of varying heights, each spike composed of stacked pointed arch tiers with fine gold zari diamond lattice (kattam) and oval leaf (patra) internal fill sequences, rising from the base in a dramatic skyline silhouette across the entire border ground. The border is finished at base with a narrow plain antique gold zari tissue selvedge band. Korvai construction.
