Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in deep chocolate brown silk with an all-over meenakari large-scale naturalistic bird in flight and peony floral vine (pakshi pushpa latha) jaal body — a continuous, painterly all-over composition of large gold zari naturalistic birds in mid-flight with dramatically spread wings and individually delineated primary and secondary feathers, set amid a dense ground of large hot magenta pink peony blooms with multi-layered petals and fine dark brown scrolling floral vine, curling leaf stems and scattered smaller floral buds covering the entire body. The gold zari birds and hot magenta pink peonies create a bold, jewel-toned meenakari contrast against the deep chocolate brown silk ground — one of the most dramatic and technically demanding all-over jaal body weaves in Kanchipuram.

Finished with a self-colour chocolate brown border with a dense antique gold zari all-over scrolling vine (latha) — a continuous tight scrolling vine in fine antique gold zari covering the entire border ground — and a narrow plain hot magenta pink silk selvedge. Korvai construction.
