The deep chocolate brown pallu is the centrepiece — featuring a dramatic large-scale gold zari lotus medallion in full bloom, surrounded by swirling gold zari cloud scroll (tomoe) motifs — a design that speaks of abundance, purity, and divine grace. The transition between body and pallu is clean and bold, with the fan weave continuing into the pallu ground before giving way to the central medallion.

Store your Kanchipuram silk saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wrap it in a soft muslin or cotton cloth rather than plastic to allow the fabric to breathe. Refold the saree every few months along different lines to prevent permanent creases. Keep neem leaves or silica gel packets nearby to protect against moisture and insects.
