Auspicious, luminous, and deeply rooted in Kanchipuram tradition — this pure silk saree in vibrant burnt orange is scattered with alternating gold zari peacock buttas and gold zari floral medallion buttas across the entire body. The peacock buttas depict the bird in a graceful standing pose with a fanned tail, rendered in dense antique gold zari with fine feather detailing. The floral medallion buttas are circular blooms with radiating petals, also in antique gold zari. The two motifs alternate in a classic Kanchipuram diagonal repeat, creating a lively, rhythmic pattern across the rich orange silk ground.

The saree is anchored by a broad antique gold zari border of extraordinary complexity — a dense multi-band geometric composition featuring: a top band of fine gold zari arrow-head and diamond chain; a wide central band of dense gold zari interlocking square and floral medallion lattice; a lower band of gold zari temple arch (gopuram) repeat; and a bottom band of fine gold zari dot-and-dash chain. The entire border is rendered in warm antique gold against the orange ground, creating a seamless tonal harmony of extraordinary richness.

FAQ

1. How should I store my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Store your Kanchipuram silk saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wrap it in a soft muslin or cotton cloth rather than plastic to allow the fabric to breathe. Refold the saree every few months along different lines to prevent permanent creases. Keep neem leaves or silica gel packets nearby to protect against moisture and insects.

2. How do I clean my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Always dry clean your Kanchipuram silk saree to preserve the silk quality and gold zari work. Avoid washing at home as water and detergents can damage the delicate silk fibers and tarnish the zari. If you notice minor stains, gently blot (don't rub) with a soft, dry cloth and take it to a professional dry cleaner experienced with silk sarees.

3. Can I iron my Kanchipuram silk saree?
Yes, but with caution. Iron your Kanchipuram silk saree on the reverse side using a low to medium heat setting. Place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the saree to protect the fabric and zari work. Never iron directly on the gold zari as high heat can damage the metallic threads. For best results, iron while the saree is slightly damp or use a steam iron on low setting

Wonderful experience!

I ordered two sarees from the UK to be delivered to my address in India. The shopping experience was hassle free with Mr Ganesh helping me over WhatsApp to select the best saree pattern and design. Without Ganesh's help, I wouldn't have been able to select the perfect sarees for my boy's party. Thanks for your help :)

Very good collection. Even better staff.
We came here for wedding shopping. Ms. Veena is brilliant sales person with tonnes of patience. The other staff members are also very friendly. They showed us the sarees without any hesitation and made sure we were satisfied before shopping. We shopped here entirely for everyone and it's a very good place to shop. Highly recommend to visit this store
