A saree of rare cultural significance and extraordinary craftsmanship — woven in luminous chartreuse yellow-green with an all-over gold zari temple iconography jaal. The body is covered in a continuous narrative weave featuring sacred motifs — temple towers (gopuram), elephants, lamps, lotuses, and divine figures — all rendered in pure gold zari against the vibrant silk ground. This is a narrative jaal saree, one of the most complex and revered forms of Kanchipuram weaving, where the entire fabric becomes a devotional canvas.
The saree is anchored by a broad magenta pink border with a dense gold zari geometric and floral scroll weave, featuring multiple bands of intricate patterning — a diamond lattice base, a central floral medallion band, and a fine dot-and-dash edge — all in pure gold zari on the deep magenta ground. Finished with a narrow magenta silk edge band.
