Pure Kanchipuram silk saree in warm golden amber with an all-over self-colour gold zari fine multi-line check grid (kattam) body — a dense, tightly woven grid of multiple fine gold zari horizontal and vertical lines forming large and small nested check squares across the entire golden amber silk ground, creating a luminous tonal self-colour fabric with a characteristic iridescent sheen. Scattered at each check intersection are small gold zari circular sunflower (surya pushpa) buttas — fine, compact circular blooms of radiating gold zari petals, placed at regular intervals across the check grid, adding a delicate jewel-like accent to the tonal body weave.
Finished with a narrow plain antique gold zari tissue border — a clean, understated band of warm antique gold zari tissue silk, edged with a narrow deep burnt orange plain silk selvedge. The simplicity of the border allows the richly textured self-colour check body to take centre stage. Korvai construction.
