Anchored by a spectacular broad self-colour plum purple border entirely filled with a dense large-scale gold zari interlocking tall pointed arch medallion (tanjore arch kattam) jaal — a continuous all-over repeat of large, tall pointed arch frames with fine gold zari beaded outer frame and scalloped inner bead ring, each arch enclosing alternating dense gold zari fills: dense gold zari all-over scrolling spiral vine (kuzhal latha) — a continuous tight scrolling spiral creeper in fine antique gold zari; and dense gold zari all-over tiny floral bud (pushpa bindu) — a dense, all-over scatter of tiny individual floral buds in fine antique gold zari.
