Draped in the legacy of Kanchipuram's master weavers, this exquisite silk saree is a celebration of two of India's most revered craft traditions ā€” the intricate chevron weave of Kanchipuram and the opulent Zardosi embroidery of artisan ateliers.

The body of the saree is woven in a rich steel blue silk, featuring a striking all-over chevron (arrow) pattern in teal and deep plum ā€” a motif that evokes both movement and grandeur. Scattered across the field are hand-applied Zardosi floral medallions, each one a miniature masterpiece: layers of pearl-beaded petals surround a raised velvet and goldwork centre, with sequin accents catching the light at every turn.

The border transitions into a deep olive-gold tissue silk, adorned with hand-embroidered Mughal-inspired boteh motifs, mirror-work, and pearl clusters ā€” a finishing touch that speaks to centuries of cross-cultural craft dialogue.
