Sacred motifs on a golden canvas. This exceptional saree is a devotional narrative told in the language of Kalamkari, a warm, golden brown/khaki textured silk base with fine vertical gold zari shimmer stripes, adorned with three masterfully hand-painted motifs placed with artistic intention. At the top, a large ornate teal/blue lotus mandala radiates outward with dark brown leaf and petal detailing, a symbol of purity and cosmic order. At the centre, a charming Kalamkari vignette depicts two decorated Nandi bulls being led by a figure, rendered with the fine line work and earthy palette of classical pen-art tradition. To the side, a magnificent dark brown peacock spreads its ornate plumage in regal detail. The lower body transitions through a bold temple/arrow chevron border, a wide dusty rose/mauve woven stripe, and a deep olive/grey-green woven border a layered, harmonious finish.
