Serenity is painted in raw silk. This exquisite saree features a deep navy blue textured silk body, clean and commanding, with a breathtaking Kalamkari-inspired nature tableau at the lower panel: a graceful bird perched on a flowering branch, surrounded by dusty pink blooms, sage and teal leaves, and delicate swirl motifs, all anchored by a sweeping mauve/dusty rose arch border with gold outline.

1. What makes a printed raw silk saree special?

While traditional raw silk is usually solid-colored or features woven zari borders, printed raw silk combines the rustic, rich texture of the fabric with modern or traditional graphic designs. From digital floral prints and geometric patterns to traditional Kalamkari and Madhubani motifs, printing adds a vibrant, contemporary flair to a classic heritage fabric.

2. Do these sarees stretch or shrink?
Pure raw silk does not stretch. It may experience minimal shrinkage (around 1-2%) if washed in water, which is why dry cleaning is always the safest bet to maintain its original dimensions.
