A saree of extraordinary drama and artistry, this Banarasi masterpiece presents two worlds in one fabric. The left panel carries a fine silver-gold diamond bandhani-style dot jaal, while the right panel bursts into a riot of color with large climbing floral vines, tulips, chrysanthemums, and lotus blooms in pink, coral, orange, yellow, teal, and lavender against a deep black silk ground. The wide ornate multicolour floral border mirrors this vivid garden, making every inch of this sari a work of art.
